Dimitri Alatzas is a retired urban transport consultant now living in Madrid, Spain. During his working career, he participated in a range of projects relating to mobility, traffic management and public transport in several countries notably France, Italy and Spain, and he also contributed to a number of urban infrastructure investment projects in Central African and Caribbean countries sponsored by the World Bank. He is following with interest, the current changes in urban mobility trends through the drafting of sustainable urban mobility plans, and the effects that these are having on our cities.
